Cub Scouts ~ For Boys Kindergarten-4th Grade

Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 818! Cub Scouting is for the whole family! It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.

What Do Scouts Do?

• Fun activities that focus on STEAM, citizenship, healthy living, first aid, sports, hiking, camping, nature, and more.

• Scouts complete engaging and fun activities in their Cub Scout handbooks to earn their badge of rank that they receive during a Bridging Ceremony.

• Scouts typically meet once a month for den meetings or outings/field trips and are grouped by grade. Scouting is flexible - If you cannot make a meeting, the activities in the handbooks are easy to complete as a family.

• The Pack hosts approximately one activity a month, such as: Service Projects, Day and Overnight Campouts, Archery, BB Gun Range, Hikes, Scout Olympics, Pinewood Derby, Seabase Activities, and more!

COVID-19 Impact Information

Pack 818 anticipates hosting den meetings and activities both virtually and in-person in small groups with safety protocols in place (virtual participation will be offered whenever possible). Activities will be held or in a modified format as the status of COVID-19 in our region allows. We may need to adjust meeting plans if COVID-19 impacts change; however, we are committed to providing a fulfilling and exciting Scouting experience for our youth. The health of our youth, their families, and our volunteers is a top priority.
